Role Description:

As a Senior Web UX/UI Designer, you will work alongside or CTO and Head of Product, playing a critical role in shaping the future of our platform. You will work hand-in-hand with our product and engineering teams to distill consumer needs into useful tools and workflows. You’ll spend time studying, mapping, and facilitating the user journey of brokers and investors who play an active role in the private markets. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to quickly conceive, deliver, and achieve adoption of features as we navigate towards strong product-market fit. You’ll be designing for an institutional audience where “trust” and “clarity” are the most important brand attributes.

Responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with the Co-Founders and Head of Product to build and maintain a rolling 6 month.
• Own the end-to-end user journey and all aspects of design execution from ideation, prototyping, user testing, to final production for key initiatives.
• Deeply understand user needs and drive alignment around solutions to core business problems by creating models, concept diagrams, workflow diagrams, and journey maps.
• Gather and synthesize client feedback and insights into actionable user stories, then pitch these to the internal team.
• Lead the visual support of our thought leadership and marketing efforts.
• Steward our brand’s look and feel across touchpoints: marketing site, platform, mobile app, and external efforts.

Requirements:

• Based in San Francisco and eager to work in our office at least 4 days per week.
• Expert in the 0-to-1 design process of user journey mapping, wireframing, high-fidelity design, and prototyping.
• At least 3 years of professional experience.
• At least 1 year of experience at a seed stage startup.
